Using multiple displays - display settings
You can connect multiple displays or a data projector to your laptop.
1. Connect the display or data projector cable to your computer
- Data projector cables have a HDMI connector. Connect the HDMI cable to your laptop's HDMI interface or use a HDMI adapter.
- Connect the display cables to the docking station. Connect your laptop to the docking station with an USB-C or USB-A cable.
2. Choose the display setting that works best for you. First press Windows button down and press P and then choose the display setting
- PC screen only - Only the screen of your computer/laptop is used.
- Duplicate - The computer screen and the other display or data projector show the same image.
- Extend - The computer screen is extended across the other display or data projector. You can move application windows from the computer screen to the other display or data projector and back. The computer screen is not shown on the data projector.
- Second screen only - The computer screen is black and the image is shown in the other display or data projector.
